ASSOCIATE ZONE MANAGER 

Description Kellogg Company Snacks Division has an opening for an Associate Zone Manager in Northern California. The Associate Zone Manager will manage approximately 5 District Managers and the teams that support those districts. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Zone Manager in managing specific districts within the zone
- Partner with distribution, region team, corporate and account teams to maximize sales throughout all districts
- Assist assigned districts in achieving all metrics, including budget achievement, controlling unsaleables, new item distribution, etc.
- Act as liaison between Region and Zone leadership and the field personnel
- Helps coordinates human resource functions, such as staffing, training and employee relations issues within assigned districts, working closely with the Region Human Resource department
- Conduct Field Work Withs
- Manages and/or delegates special projects and tasks as assigned
- Executing talent management in terms of developing, coaching and training district managers
- Assists District Managers in the talent management process for the Territory Managers and Territory Service Representatives.
- Interprets and executes company policies and procedures.
- Build teams of diverse individuals who work interdependently to achieve business objectives, promoting collaboration, coordination, and teamwork.
- Role may require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.
- Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels.
- Promote and support workplace diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Identify, select, and separate employees in order to run business operations to achieve strategic objectives.
- Ensure organizational structures and resources are aligned with strategy.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and customer policies and procedures.
- Assess the talent of the team to ensure bench strength.
- Provide coaching and mentoring that includes developmental plans, training, resources, and opportunities.
-Set and communicate performance expectations and goals, and how these contribute to the strategy.
 

Position Requirements Minimum qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED and 3 years people management experience
- 2 years account management experience
- 2 years CPG people management experience
- 4 years sales experience


Preferred Experience:
- Bachelors degree
- 3 years Kellogg people management experience
- General MS Office knowledge
